Community Organisation Small Grants & Donations

Drighlington Parish Council sets aside a percentage of the precept each year to make small grants to local community organisations based in the village.

Grants are available up to £300, however, in order to allow more community organisations to benefit, the Parish Council has the discretion to approve a lower amount than the one applied for, which would allow the money set aside to go a little further.

To make it easier for community groups to access Parish Council funds through the grant process, a new Grant Policy was approved at the Parish Council meeting held on the 18th of August 2025.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS:

  • Applications for grants will be submitted on the grant application form.
  • Applications will be considered at meetings of the Parish Council. On receipt of the application form, the application will be added to the agenda for the following meeting of the Parish Council.
